01In early use

Cosmo.
The one you've already met.

Most of what a business tells you in the first month ends up in somebody's head, or in a thread nobody can find again. Cosmo is where it goes instead. It runs discovery on our own projects now. The one answering in the corner of this page is a small piece of it. Talk to it. That's the demo.

02One character, two depths

The same agent, given more to hold.

The left column is running in the corner of this page right now. The right is the same character inside a project with us, with a much longer memory and a lot more reach. Both are running. Only one of them is free to walk up to.

// ON THIS PAGEKnows this whole site, cold
// ON THIS PAGEOpens the page, scrolls to the part, points at it
// ON THIS PAGEHands anything it can't answer to a human, question intact
// ON THIS PAGEForgets you the moment you close the tab
// ON THIS PAGEHas opinions about the work
03The face

It has a body, and the body means something.

The face is a galaxy, not an icon, and none of it is decoration. Four states, each one driven by what's actually happening rather than by a timer. It's cycling through all four below. Hold one if you want a proper look.

At rest. Two drifts on unrelated clocks, so it never quite repeats and never quite settles.

No canvas, no filters, and nothing animates but transform and opacity. That's why a face that stays alive for a whole visit costs the page almost nothing. With reduced motion on, the travel stops and the color stays.

04What it proves

Four things we'd build into yours.

Cosmo is where we work out the hard parts of agent design on our own time. What survives here is what we build into the agents that go to work in a business.

PATTERN 01MEMORY
Two memories, split on purpose
Sarah explains how quoting works. The fact about quoting goes in the company record. The fact that Sarah was the one who explained it goes somewhere else. That split is what stops an agent asking her the same thing in month three.
PATTERN 02BOUNDARIES
Character in the database, permissions in code
Its personality is editable without a deploy. What it's allowed to touch is not. Tools and permissions live in code, so tuning how it sounds can never open a door it shouldn't. Most agents don't have that seam.
PATTERN 03EVIDENCE
Every answer is reconstructable
Each reply is stored with the model, the tool calls, and the exact context it was handed. Ask why it said that six weeks later and there's a record, not a guess. That's the difference between auditable and merely impressive.
PATTERN 04HANDOFF
A refusal that goes somewhere
It has no pricing and no timelines, so it doesn't invent any. It passes the question to a human with your context attached, and offers to bring the answer back. Ask the one in the corner what a build costs. Watch it happen.
05Build state

Now and next.

Both halves are running: the one in the corner of this page, and the one that sits inside a project. What's next is reach.

// NOW
  • The operator, answering on every page of this site
  • Discovery conversations that build a working picture of how a business runs
  • Memory per person, so nobody explains the same thing twice
  • Questions it can't answer routed to a human, and the answer finding its way back
  • One private workspace per engagement, with modes that can't see what they shouldn't
06If this is the shape you need

Same character, your business.

If you want an agent that remembers your business instead of starting over every conversation, that's the work. Tell us what yours would need to know.
